Shooting Slyfox

My fall 2023 Slyfox collab is finally here!! I seriously feel like every collab with them gets better and better!! To bring my vision of some COOL MOM and cool kid pieces is such a dream. This year, we shot the collection at Lake Tahoe. We flew into Reno and drove to South Lake Tahoe, about an hour away. We stayed at the Edgewood in South Lake. We took the kids over to the Arcade in Harvey’s, and it was pretty good!! The kids enjoyed themselves, and it wasn’t crowded at all, so that was nice. Also, at Harvey’s, we ate at Joe's, and I swear they had the BEST pizza!! We ordered some apps and had the salad bar, too, and it was all SO GOOD!!

On the day of the photoshoot:

We were up in Carnelian Bay and shot the entire day! We ordered food from CBS Bistro, which was really good, too. They even understood the “extra pickles” assignment. It was a late shoot day, so we just grabbed something quick on our way back to our hotel in South Lake.

The next day:

We went out on Samager’s dad’s boat!! We seriously had the best time and are so thankful that they showed us around Lake Tahoe from the water! That night, we ordered food from the hotel and hung out by the fire pit. The kids got to play outdoor games, and we ended the night with s’mores.

On Monday:

We checked out and met the group for lunch in Heavenly Village at California Burger Co. It was really good too! We ordered appetizers and had lunch. The service was good, and we got seated and served quickly. We really enjoyed our food there!! After lunch, we drove an hour back to Reno and took the kids to Coconut Bowl, which is a huge arcade and adventure park. They have go-carts, a water park and bowling too! It’s really cool for the kids, so if you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out!!

It was such a fun weekend getting to see the area with our friends and Sam’s family. We really want to go back there in the summer because it really is so pretty and they have so much to do there. My collab with Slyfox is available now!! You can shop it here!!
