Country Concert Outfit Ideas!!
Country Concert Outfit Ideas
One of my FAV things to do is attend a country concert!! I love everything about it, the music, the singing, the dancing… and most of all… THE OUTFITS!!! We’ve chatted all about my fav everyday mom outfits, but now, let’s chat about some country concert outfit ideas that I REALLY love.
Putting on cowgirl boots is one of my favorite accessories!! Picking out the right western-inspired outfit isn’t always the easiest, but I like to pick a staple item and build the rest around it. For example, if you found a super cute fringe skirt, I’d use that to decide the rest of the look. Boots next, then accessories. Obviously, you want something that makes you stand out from the crowd, which can be the tricky part. Also, always consider the seasonal weather for your country concert outfit, you don’t want to be freezing in winter or sweating through your shirt in July.
Fall Country Concert outfit ideas:
Black on Black & Corduroy Dress
YES, I met Megan Moroney and of course we were twinning!! I wore the cutest black dress with off-the-shoulder eyelet sleeves, and knee-high black cowboy boots.
While in Nashville a few years back, I wore a super cute dark green corduroy dress. I’ve seen so many similar pieces that are rompers. They’re so cute and pretty comfy. The Belt adds a little more western feel to this outfit and makes the dress a little more flattering around the waist. With this color green, I felt it looked the best with the Tan knee-high western boots. The dress also had a collar too so I decided to wear my hair up to really show off the details!!
Graphic Tee!
I might be a little biased because two of these are staykation graphic tees. But there’s something about a graphic tee and some western boots... it just FITS. You can really just throw anything together. Adding a little sparkly fishnet underneath can really spice it up, too!!
Spring Country Concert outfit ideas:
This was our first year going to the Sand In My Boots Country Music Festival in Alabama, and I don’t think we’ll ever NOT go again, we had SO MUCH freakin’ fun!! We had just done Stagecoach Festival the week before and loved it too, but Sand In My Boots was extra special because it’s literally on the beach! You can wear your swimsuits to a country concert… how fun is that?!
If you know me, you know I LOVE anything bright, pink, orange, and sparkly — so the second I saw these statement cowgirl boots, they screamed my name. I originally got them for my Diff Eyewear shoot, but they were perfect with denim shorts and my pink Show Me Your Mumu swimsuit (you could also swap for a cute bodysuit). I threw on an orange gauze button-up shirt as a light cover-up, which made this the perfect spring country concert outfit — you can stay cool during the day and warm when the sun goes down.
My blue cowgirl boots from my Pink Lily collab were an absolute HIT! The perfect shade of blue, they sold out so dang fast it shocked us all. They made the ultimate statement boots for any country concert outfit, I can’t even tell you how many people stopped me to ask where my boots were from!!
Fringe outfit!!
Our first time going to Stagecoach was last year and we had the best time! I think my favorite part about the entire thing was seeing everyone’s outfits!! Besides boots and graphics.. the next best thing to wear to a country concert is FRINGE. Originally, fringe in the western culture was designed so that raindrops would go down the tassels and away from the body. It’s come full circle and turned into FASHION… and honestly… I am SO glad, because its freakin cute!! I paired this black fringe long sleeve with this super cute silver sequin mini skirt and some black cowboy boots. You can also add fun necklaces or earrings with this kind of look too.
Blue denim boots!
Two summers ago, we went to the California Mid State fair to see Luke Bryan in concert. The entire concert was outside, and it was the middle of July, so it was HOT to say the least!! I found this SUPER cute pair of blue denim boots and HAD to accessorize with a blue purse too!! I wore a pink oversized graphic tee and my pink rhinestone cowgirl hat to spice it up!! I had denim shorts on, and for my hairstyle, I wore it down, with some waves, and put the cute little “no elastic” braids to keep my hair out of my face!!
Black boots!!
The Kern County Fair is in September and during that time of year, it’s still super warm in Bakersfield. It really doesn’t start cooling down until the end of October. A group of us went to the Mitchell Tenpenny concert (first photo) and had SO much fun. I wore this graphic tee that says “Just here for a good time” with my fav denim shorts and then the black boots I got from the summer Nordstrom anniversary sale!!
Going out to a concert is supposed to be fun, no matter who you’re with. Seeing your favorite artists in person is so cool. Expressing yourself with some fun outfits makes it even more fun. You can wear any of these outfits to a country concert. You could also just wear them out for fun on girls night!!
