Spring Break at Evermore Orlando…This Place Is Actually Unreal!!
Okay, this place is one of those that you book thinking it’ll be fun…and then you get there and you’re like, wait…why do I feel like I’m on an island vacation but also five minutes from Disney?!!
We stayed at Conrad Orlando at Evermore Orlando Resort, and I need to fully explain this because I was confused at first, too…
So Evermore is the entire resort…and then Conrad is the actual hotel inside of it. BUT you can also stay in houses and flats…like full-on multi-bedroom homes (I’m talking up to 10+ bedrooms!!) which makes it sooo nice for big family trips, Disney vacations, or group trips to Orlando.
Where Is Conrad Orlando Located?
You’re in Orlando, just a few miles from all the major theme parks and a 25-minute drive from the Orlando International Airport.
That means you can do the chaos of Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando Resort during the day…and then come back to literal calm, quiet, tropical resort vibes at night. Honestly, the best combo if you’re planning a Universal or Disney trip but don’t want to stay inside the parks.
Distance to Universal Orlando Resort (This Was Honestly Perfect)
We stayed at Conrad Orlando at Evermore and also did a day at Universal Orlando Resort…and the distance could not have been better.
Universal was about 20–25 minutes away, depending on traffic…which felt super doable. Close enough that you don’t feel like you’re in the car forever…BUT far enough that you’re not in the middle of all the chaos when you’re trying to relax. And honestly…this was my favorite part of the whole setup.
You can go do a full theme park day…crowds, walking 20k steps, all the things…and then come back to Evermore and it’s just calm. Quiet. Clean. You’re sitting by the lagoon, thinking, “wait, this is the same trip??” It really gave the best of both worlds…theme park energy when you want it, tropical resort vibes when you need a break.
If you’re planning Universal specifically…I would 1000% stay here again just for that balance alone. It made the whole trip feel way more relaxing and not just go-go-go the entire time.
Evermore Resort Lagoon…The Best Part of the Entire Stay
But the real star of the show…the Evermore lagoon. I’m not exaggerating when I say it looks like the ocean. Crystal clear blue water, white sand, and a huge open space where you can swim, float, paddleboard, or just sit and pretend you’re somewhere in the Caribbean. This is what makes Conrad Orlando feel like a tropical resort in Florida…not just another hotel near Disney.
There are also…
-Tons of pools and jacuzzis
-Private cabanas everywhere
-A rope swing (yes…adults included 😂)
-A giant waterslide into the pool
-Water activities you can rent
Like it’s very much a “you don’t even need to leave the resort” kind of place…which is honestly ideal after a long park day.
Rooms, Houses + Why It’s Perfect for Families or Groups
One of the most unique things about Evermore Resort is that you’re not limited to just hotel rooms. You can stay at Conrad Orlando for that luxury hotel feel…OR book full vacation homes and flats with multiple bedrooms (some up to 10+ bedrooms!!).
Which makes this perfect for:
family vacations to Disney or Universal
large groups traveling together
multi-family trips
or anyone who just wants more space than a typical hotel
Dining Options at Conrad Orlando + Evermore Resort
Food-wise…there are multiple restaurants on property so you’re not stuck eating the same thing every day…which I appreciate so much on longer Orlando trips.
There are casual spots, nicer sit-down options, and easy poolside food…so it works whether you’re in full vacation mode or just trying to feed kids quickly between activities.
And there’s even an arcade…which if you have kids…you already know that’s a win!! My kids were SO excited for the arcade!!
What we ate at Conrad Orlado
We are definitely room service kind of people…sometimes it’s just easier to eat in your room so everyone can actually relax. And the food was so good…like not just convenient…actually good!!

Is Conrad Orlando Worth It? My Honest Thoughts
First impression…immaculate. Everything felt brand new, super clean, and the service was honestly so friendly from the second we got there. You know when a place just feels easy? That was this. What I loved most, though, it didn’t feel overwhelming. Even with everything there, it still felt relaxing…which is rare for Orlando resorts.
Who This Resort Is Best For
If you’re planning…
a Universal Disney vacation, but want a more relaxing hotel nearby
a family trip with multiple people
a group vacation where everyone can stay together
Or honestly, just a warm weather getaway in Florida that feels a little elevated
This place is SUCH a good option.
It really does give tropical island energy…without needing a passport!!
